Bill and I stayed at the Tides Inn in Irvington, VA over the Memorial Day week-end. Let me first of all say - it's in the middle of nowhere and I really had lowered my expectations the longer we were in the car and the longer we went without seeing any signs of civilization. However, I was quite wrong and the Tides Inn proved to be an excellent getaway without the crowds or chaos of NoVa.
